Process

Each detective in the group will choose to research either an igneous, sedimentary, or metamorphicrock.
2. Each detective will first visit the following link (Link 1) to research and learn about rocks and the Rock Cycle.
Please make sure to view the “interactives” as you navigate through the site.
Must Complete: After viewing the site and researching, each detective will answer the questions under the “Test your skills” section of the same website.
Please make sure to print your results.
Note: This site (link 1) is meant to give each detective some background information on the three types of rocks that we are studying.
3. Next, the detectives will go the following link (Link 2) and print a copy of the “Rock Cycle Song”. Each group will practice the song together.

Note: This site is meant to give you additional information on how each rock is formed (and to test your singing skills.

5. I advise each detective to view the next link (Link 4) and read a short passage on the three types of rocks, paying close attention to the one that you have
